We provide a wide range of Services
UNAB delivers a wide range of programmes and services designed to improve the lives of persons who are blind and visually impaired.
Advocacy and Human Rights
NAB advocates for the rights of persons who are blind and visually impaired, promoting equal access to education, employment, healthcare, justice, and public services. We work with government, development partners, and communities to build a more inclusive Uganda.
Capacity Building
We strengthen the skills and leadership of persons with visual impairments, district associations, and community leaders through training, mentorship, and organizational development, empowering them to advocate for their rights and participate fully in society.
Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR)
Our community-based rehabilitation programmes promote independence, social inclusion, and improved quality of life by connecting individuals with rehabilitation, health, education, and support services within their communities.
Education and Literacy Support
UNAB promotes inclusive education by supporting access to Braille, accessible learning materials, assistive technologies, and educational opportunities that enable learners with visual impairments to achieve their full potential.
Assistive Devices and Accessibility
UNAB promotes the use of assistive technologies and accessible solutions that enable persons with visual impairments to communicate, learn, work, and access information independently in an increasingly digital world.

We equip persons with visual impairments with vocational, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills to improve their livelihoods, increase employment opportunities, and foster economic independence.
